Hydrangeas – a choice with character
Hydrangeas are luxurious bushy flowers with large, voluminous inflorescences, usually white, as well as in delicate and vibrant shades of pink, blue, and purple. They are very moisture-loving, so it's important to provide them with plenty of fresh water in the vase. Ideally, fill the vase 2/3 full. Flower Power experts advise cutting the stem diagonally and piercing it from the bottom for better water absorption. The water should be changed daily. This flower loves coolness, so the bouquet should be placed away from direct sunlight in a cool place.
Preserving the fragrance and luxury of peonies
Peonies are florists' favorites, known for their lush, fragrant buds. Their stems are thick, so they need to be carefully cut at a 45-degree angle and the cut refreshed frequently. At Flower Power, we recommend removing lower leaves that may fall into the water. To prolong the life of the flowers, you can keep them in cool water for a few hours before placing them in a vase. Although peonies love light, they are sensitive to overheating after pruning. It is best to place the bouquet in partial shade or a spot with diffused light.
The elegance of delphiniums in a vase
Delphiniums are long, graceful flowers with upright inflorescences of rich hues that add dynamism and structure to a bouquet. Delphiniums can last from 8 to 12 days. These flowers are particularly demanding of water purity, so it needs to be changed daily. After cutting the stem, it is best to immerse them in hot water for a few seconds – this improves water conductivity. Keep them in a cool, draft-free room. In our boutique, they are featured in Ocean, Mystic Petals, Champagne Sunset, and many other arrangements.
Exquisite tulips
Tulips are symbols of spring, renewal, and pleasant changes. They require fresh, cool water and trimming every 1-2 days. It's best to keep tulips in a narrow, tall vase, which will help maintain their shape, as they continue to grow even after being cut. Avoid heat and sun – this causes the buds to open quickly. You can order these beautiful flowers in our mono-arrangements or in other bouquets such as Graceful Petals, Sunbeam, Frankness, and others.
How to keep your favorite roses fresh
Roses are an eternal classic in the world of flowers, a symbol of love and elegance. To keep roses fresh longer, the water in the vase should be changed every 3 days. Roses love misting, so the bouquet should be hydrated, but only on the petals. The stems should be re-cut each time the water is changed.

We have the largest selection of roses in Kyiv: from classic to spray and French varieties, arranged in various compositions – delicate, passionate, vibrant, juicy. All you have to do is choose what appeals to you.
Arrangements in boxes: how to properly preserve beauty
Boxed arrangements are a modern trend where the bouquet is a complete gift. How do you properly care for such an arrangement?
The main difference between flowers in a box and a bouquet is the presence of floral foam, which is pre-soaked in water and maintains a certain moisture level. We recommend monitoring the condition of the floral foam – it should always be slightly damp, so water it in the center of the arrangement as needed. Try to avoid getting water on the leaves and buds of the flowers.
